BAWAAL is currently free and does not display ads. Future monetization may include optional premium features, but core functionality will remain free.

Yes. You can delete your own posts at any time. Deleted posts vanish from the app immediately, and all content is encrypted while stored.

We have community guidelines and automated systems to detect and remove harmful content. Users can also report posts that violate our guidelines.

Posts cannot be edited after publishing. You can delete and repost if needed.

Yes. AI chat history is stored only on your device and is never stored on our servers. To generate a reply, your message is sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini, with a fallback provider); we do not use it to train AI models.

Supportive, Sassy, and Wise Aunty. All modes include safety overrides — crisis messages show local emergency guidance instead of a persona reply.

From the app settings. This permanently removes your anonymous user ID and all associated server-side data.

Because your anonymous ID lives only on your device, losing the device means losing access to that account. There is no email or phone for us to verify against — that is the trade-off for true anonymity.
